Giovanna is a working student at Leadership & Sustainability. She supports the Strategy Team in the development and implementation of sustainability projects, for example, carbon footprint and climate balance. Giovanna also assists the team with project management tasks.
Education & Experience
Giovanna has a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich. Her bachelor's thesis was about optimizing the efficiency and performance of the proton-exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell by perforating diffusion media with ultra-short laser pulses in order to ensure a constant and homogeneous water flow outside of the cell. This would assist on the change towards a more sustainable future since the mobility industry could rely mostly on hydrogen and air as fuel and no greenhouse gases would be emitted by vehicles that work with a PEM fuel cell.
Giovanna is now doing her master's degree in chemical engineering at the Technical University of Munich. She specializes in sustainability, solar engineering, renewable energies, and sustainable energy systems.
