Education & Experience
Ramya holds a Bachelor of Science Tech degree in Textile Technology from the University Institute of Chemical Technology (UICT). She has more than 20 years of experience in the textile, apparel & footwear & industrial safety domain. She has worked in different capacities with organizations like BASF India Ltd, Ambattur Clothing Ltd, DyStar India Pvt Ltd, and Mallcom (India) Ltd. She has trained numerous participants from different geographical locations for Higg FEM and ZDHC Chemical Management Practices.
Over the course of her career, Ramya has presented various papers on topics of Safety and Sustainability at different technical forums.
Audit & training qualifications
Ramya is a lead auditor for ISO14001:2015 as well as ISO 45001:2018 and is experienced in ISO 9001 system implementation. Furthermore, she is an approved ZDHC Trainer, a Higg FEM Verifier & Trainer and a BRM Verifier.
