From 1 April 2026, the Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) introduced a new Verifier Body (VB) selection and scoring model, designed to strengthen the quality, consistency, and integrity of social and labour verifications.
This update changes how facilities select their Verifier Body within the SLCP system and encourages continuous improvement across all approved Verifier Bodies. Rather than selecting from a simple list of approved Verifier Bodies, facilities will now choose from a pre-generated list of eligible VBs that is filtered and ranked according to quality scores. Only verifier bodies that meet all SLCP eligibility requirements are included in the list.
The ranking is based on quality-related performance metrics, helping facilities identify Verifier Bodies that consistently deliver high-quality verification services. SLCP recommends that facilities use this new ranking when selecting their verifier body, enabling more informed decisions based on quality and verification integrity.
