Leadership & Sustainability is excited to share that we recently hosted our Better Cotton webinar. The event was a great success, thanks to our fantastic presenters, Karin Ekberg and Julia Wolf, who led an insightful and engaging session.

We are proud to announce that we are now officially accredited as a Better Cotton Chain of Custody (CoC) Certification Body. This means we can now offer third-party Chain of Custody audits and certification services to facilities and companies in Turkey, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Pakistan. As a Certification Body, we are authorized to assess whether your operations meet the latest requirements of the Better Cotton CoC Standard v1.1, which came into effect in February 2025.
What is the Better Cotton Chain of Custody Standard?
The Chain of Custody Standard is a set of auditable rules that ensure Better Cotton can be tracked and verified as it moves through the supply chain, from farms to gins, traders, spinners, mills, brands, and beyond. It supports four approved supply chain models:
- Mass Balance
- Controlled Blending
- Segregation (Multi-Country)
- Segregation (Single Country)
With this certification, your organisation can:
- Ensure traceability of cotton input and output
- Make credible sustainability claims
- Use the Better Cotton label
- Strengthen due diligence and supply chain transparency
