End of Year Message 2025 Leadership & Sustainability

    By Vanderlei Ekberg | Allgemein | 0 comment | 17 December, 2025 | 20

As we approach the end of 2025, we reflect on a year marked by significant political and geopolitical turbulence. Ongoing instability across many regions has continued to affect communities, supply chains, and livelihoods worldwide, reminding us of the importance of responsible leadership and collective action.

This year is also a meaningful milestone for Leadership & Sustainability, as we celebrate 10 years of supporting organisations on their sustainability journeys. Over the past decade, we have grown through strong partnerships, shared learning, and open, engaging discussions — and we are deeply grateful to all our customers and collaborators for being part of this journey.

    Highlights from 2025

Throughout the year, we have continued to strengthen our services and partnerships, including:

    • Becoming full APSCA Members
    • Continuing our work within SLCP, Higg FEM and ZDHC.
    • Further developing our expertise as Better Cotton auditors
    • Advancing work across Cradle to Cradle, PSCI, and related frameworks
    • Strengthening our partnership with BSI
    • Active membership and engagement with Textile Exchange, EOCA, and Cascale
    • Becoming Premium Consulting Partners with Worldly

These achievements reflect our ongoing commitment to quality, credibility, and meaningful impact across global supply chains.

    Supporting those most affected

In light of the ongoing humanitarian crises around the world, we feel it is important to acknowledge the severe and long-standing situation in Sudan, where years of conflict have led to famine, mass displacement, and widespread atrocities, with civilians — especially children — bearing the greatest burden.

This year, rather than traditional seasonal gestures, we have chosen to focus our efforts on supporting UNICEF’s work for children affected by crisis in Sudan. UNICEF continues to provide lifesaving assistance, protection, and essential services to children and families living through unimaginable conditions.

We believe that using our platform to raise awareness and support humanitarian action is one small but meaningful way to contribute during such challenging times.

    Looking ahead

We would like to thank all our clients, partners, and collaborators for your trust, engagement, and support throughout 2025. Your continued collaboration enables us to learn, improve, and stay inspired by the work we do together.

As we look ahead to the next decade, we remain committed to supporting responsible leadership, sustainable practices, and positive change.

We wish you a peaceful holiday season and a healthy, impactful year ahead.

    Warm regards,
    The Leadership & Sustainability team!
