The SAC Global Member Meeting in Barcelona 2019

    By Laura Brüggen | Blog | 0 comment | 8 August, 2019 | 0

Every year, the SAC Global Member Meeting takes place to discuss ongoing projects, celebrate milestones and develop stronger relationships through collaboration on SAC’s aims and objectives. 2017 in Bangalore, 2018 in Vancouver and this year in Barcelona, also we from Leadership & Sustainability had the opportunity to participate in the gathering. Over 300 representatives from all over the world travelled to Barcelona with the shared ambition: to drive sustainable change in the textile and apparel industry.

In light of this, we put continuous effort to improve our service portfolio for you, also in our role as HiggFEM general and chemical specialist verifiers and trainers. Accordingly, we are proud to announce that our CEO Karin Ekberg has been awarded the Higg Index Verification Leadership Award at this year’s summit. She was honoured for her commitment to the verification and her outstanding support for the SAC.

We believe that the textile and apparel industry can only be successful and become more sustainable through knowledge and turning it into action together. This is why we support you with HiggFEM training and verification and assist you with all the important topics i.e. wastewater and chemicals management. Moreover, we develop strategy projects tailored to your case and strive to find solutions to your sustainability issues.

We look forward to working on your SAC Higg FEM verification with you!

    Kind regards,

    Karin & Team
