What’s New in the C2C Standard 4.1?
Following the certification of over 34,000 products worldwide, the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute has launched a significantly updated version of its standard.
Version 4.1 raises the bar for sustainable product design and manufacturing. It introduces three certification scope options to match your company’s ambitions:
- The full scope
- The material health scope
- The circularity scope
While overall requirements are more rigorous, the new standard offers greater flexibility, allowing you to pursue certification under one of the more focused scopes if the full certification is not yet feasible. Certification levels remain the same: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.
